On Tuesday, Joe Biden made history by naming Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate.
Biden tweeted, “I have the great honor to announce that I’ve picked @KamalaHarris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants — as my running mate.”
Joe Biden is accepting a former rival who is exceptionally familiar with the rigour of a national campaign. Harris is also a prominent figure and quickly got the number 2 spot when she was part of her own White House campaign.
