    Ford government’s guidelines for opening schools up in September, can have a damage of about $250 million for the Toronto District School Board. Some of the results include making school days shorter and not providing French to students.

    Education Minister Stephen Lecce recommended 15 students per teacher when he introduced the possibility of hybrid learning and also remote learning in September. The Board voiced their concern, that the new plan “will force parents to choose between educating their children and their own employment.”
