    Moderna Announces COVID-19 Vaccine is 94.5% Effective

    On Monday, Moderna announced its vaccine provides robust protection and hope against the coronavirus surge worldwide. 

    According to early study data, Moderna said its vaccine is 94.5 per cent effective. 

    A week ago, Pfizer announced that their vaccine was also effective, putting both companies on track.
