    Moderna Announces Vaccine Protects Against COVID-19 Variants

    On Monday, Moderna Inc. announced that its COVID-19 vaccine produced virus-neutralizing antibodies in laboratory tests against the new COVID-19 variants found in South Africa and the U.K.  

    According to the company, a two-dose regimen of the Moderna vaccine shows to be protective against the strains detected to date.
