    Heat waves are increasing all over the world and Canada is no exception. Canada is also experiencing rising nighttime temperatures which means our bodies won’t get a chance to cool. Climate change plays a major role in increasing instances of sporadic and dangerous weather.

    With climate change, there will be more intense and frequent events of hurricanes, droughts, floods, heat waves. Heat waves in particular are hitting locations all across the planet leaving detrimental consequences. While most of the impact tropical countries, heat waves are starting in northerly climates.

    Many people in Canada know daytime temperatures are rising in certain regions, but parts of Quebec and Ontario are feeling warmer nighttime temperatures. For people with heart disease and asthma, it can be very problematic as our bodies don’t have any time to cool off.
