Tonight, the Winnipeg Jets are set to host Game 1 of the NHL’s North Division final against the Montreal Canadiens. Both teams upset their opposition in the first round of the playoffs. The fourth-placed Canadiens beat the Toronto Maple Leafs in a Game 7 thriller, while the third-placed Jets swept the second-place Edmonton Oilers.

Winnipeg has been resting for a while as they finished their series on Victoria Day. That is a full week before the Canadiens eliminated Toronto on Monday. Winnipeg had the advantage over Montreal during their regular-season series. Out of their nine regular-season games against each other, the Jets won 6 of them with three victories in overtime.

The real highlight of this series is the battle between goalkeepers. Connor Hellebuyck of the Jets won the Vezina Trophy last season and Carey Price won the same award in 2015.
