    Ontario Contemplates Extended School Closures

    As the winter break approaches for schools, the Ontario government is giving thought to extending school closures.

    On Tuesday, Education Minister Stephen Lecce said, “We have to do whatever it takes to protect the gains we’ve made in the ministry within our education ecosystem.”

    Lecce is consulting with Ontario’s Chief Medical Officer of Health, Dr. David Williams, to ensure that children can go back to school in January 2021 in a safe manner.
