    On Wednesday, Ontario reported 2,408 new cases of COVID-19 and 41 deaths.

    It is the ninth consecutive day of more than 2,000 cases of the virus in the Province and the second-highest single-day count since the beginning of the pandemic. 

    Wednesday’s count includes 448 in Peel Region, 234 in Windsor-Essex, 629 in Toronto, 190 in York Region, 136 in Durham Region, and 150 in Hamilton.
