    Ontario Reports High Numbers of New COVID-19 Cases and Tests

    Ontario reported another record high number of COVID-19 cases as the Province processed more than 60,000 tests, which is the highest number of tests conducted in a 24-hour period. 

    Ontario Health officials reported a total of 1,983 new cases of the virus, which is higher than the previous record of 1,925. 

    The Province’s positivity rate is 3.6 per cent, down from 4.4 per cent last week.
