On Tuesday, Ontario reported 1,740 new cases of COVID-19, the lowest since mid-December.

The new COVID-19 cases include 144 in York Region, 320 in Peel Region, and 677 in Toronto.

The labs logged a test positivity rate of 5.9 per cent as the Provinces network of labs processed 30,717 tests, the fewest number since November 17, 2020.
