    OpenText Corporation announced that it has reached a deal with the U.S. IRS to settle an $830 million U.S. claim linked to its taxable income for 2010 and 2012 financial years. 

    According to the agreement, OpenText will pay $290 million U.S. in federal taxes and interest. 

    OpenText also said that the settlement eliminates about $90 million in future withholding that they were expected to pay back over the next ten years.
