Last night, a storm left a trail of damage in London-Middlesex  as photos show damage to trees and farm buildings. On Wednesday, Ontario had reports of high winds, rain, and unconfirmed tornado warnings. There was also a number of severe summer storms that made their mark across southwestern Ontario.

The storms began forming from East Michigan in the early afternoon. This brought heavy rains and winds to areas along the Lake Huron shoreline between Goderich and Georgian Bay. Environment Canada made many statements and updates as there were multiple warnings and watches for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms.

However, it was a storm that travelled from Sarnia that caused the most damage around 7 p.m. ET. Images from that area were shared with CBC News which shows limbs from trees ripped off and corn stalks flattened.
