    Pfizer’s COVID-19 Vaccine Received Full Approval in the U.S.

    Regulators in the U.S. have given full approval to Pfizer and BioNTech’s COVID-19 vaccine on Monday. This is a major milestone for the country as it tries to lift public confidence in vaccinations. They hope that it initiates companies, universities, and local governments to start implementing COVID-19 vaccination policies.

    The Pentagon already stated that it plans to mandate members of the military to get a vaccine. The formula made by Pfizer and BioNTech is now the strongest endorsed vaccine by the Food and Drug Administration. This specific vaccine is special because they never had this much evidence supporting the shot’s safety.

    Currently, more than 200 million doses of the Pfizer vaccine have been injected into people living in the U.S. Globally there have been hundreds of millions of doses of Pfizer administered. Up until now, the U.S. has been dispensing the vaccine under an emergency use authorization from the FDA.
