    Premier François Legault is set to announce his plan to take on climate change after announcing a ban on the sale of new gas-powered vehicles by 2035. 

    Legault’s government will spend $6.7 billion over the next 5 years; part of that money will be used to promote the purchase of electric vehicles.

    But according to climate change experts and environmental activists, that will not be enough to get the Province on track to meeting its goal of lowering greenhouse gas emissions by the year 2030.
