    As Toronto battles the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the city is also battling food insecurity, resulting in unprecedented visits to the food banks. 

    On Monday, Daily Bread Food Bank released their annual “Who’s Hungry” report, which forecasts that 2020 will have the highest number of visits to a food bank ever recorded in Toronto. 

    Neil Hetherington, Chief Executive Officer, said: “The amount of new clients coming to food banks has increased by 200 per cent.”
