All cross-border games have been postponed as more and more athletes are being placed in COVID-19 protocols. In a release on Sunday the NHL said “due to the concern about cross-border travel and given the fluid nature of federal travel restrictions,” games will be postponed through December 23. The NHL and NHLPA reached an agreement to continue the regular-season schedule.

Since Saturday, there have been a total of 27 game postponements and at least 12 more will be postponed through December 23. The Montreal Canadiens and Edmonton Oilers will both have three games postponed while the Ottawa Senators and Vancouver Canucks will each have two games postponed. The Winnipeg Jets and Toronto Maple Leafs will each only have one game postponed.

Another Toronto Raptors game has been postponed due to the novel coronavirus. The Raptors had a game scheduled Monday against the Orlando Magic but that has been postponed indefinitely. The reason being is the number of Magic players that have been placed in COVID-19 protocol.
