    Sarah Steele, 25, of Stratford has officially signed a contract with the Toronto Six of the National Women’s Hockey League.

    Steele played 3 seasons in Europe. Soon after attending Boston University, she won a gold medal while playing with Team Canada in the IIHF U-18 World Championship.

    In a news release brought out by the NWHL, Steele explained “Having spent most of my career in the States and overseas, it means the world to me to be able to play at the professional level on home soil.”
