    Unifor, the union representing many of Ontario’s bus drivers, has announced that it’s concerned there will be a shortage of bus school bus drivers if the Ford Government doesn’t step in. They’re calling for new provisions to protect the health and safety of both bus operators and students. 

    Unifor claims that action is needed to ensure drivers can safely transport students to school starting in September. The union also stated that engagement between the Provincial Government and school bus drivers has been minimal and that they’d like to see communication open up.
