    Emma Trousdale, a Toronto mom, wants to send her children to school full time, but she expects they will eventually spend more time at home than school. 

    “Someone’s going to get a cold or a cough — probably not COVID, but you’re going to be keeping someone home, like, all the time, that’s a big reason why I (also) don’t want to send them back — because then at least I know what my day holds, I can make a plan,” says Trousdale.

    With only 2 weeks left before classes start and with school districts still making changes to guidance plans, Trousdale has so many unanswered questions about how COVID-19 will affect the children’s learning, work schedules for the parents, and how and where to get tested.
