    The social media company Snap is testing a new subscription service called Snapchat+. Rumours of this development started Thursday on Twitter that could cost around US$5 a month. This will allow them to do things like pin a “best friend” at the top of their messaging page. 

    Snap spokesperson Liz Markman confirmed the new to CNN Business. She explained that the company has begun early internal testing of the service but declined to comment on the features, pricing or timeline of the sercince. This comes as the company tries to kick start its business after a few tough months.

    Markman said “we’re excited about the potential to share exclusive, experimental, and pre-release features with our subscribers, and learn more about how we can best serve our community,”
