    Stricter COVID-19 Restrictions for York, Peel, and Toronto

    On Friday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford announced that Toronto, Peel Region, and York Region would face stricter COVID-19 restrictions and a possible lockdown as COVID-19 cases continue to increase. 

    On Thursday, Ford said, “We have some difficult but necessary decisions to make; our government will release further public health restrictions. As it’s looking, these measures will have to be tough in the hardest-hit areas.”
