    The City’s Shelter System Sees the Most Fatal Year in 2020

    The City’s shelter system was the deadliest in 2020 as 74 shelter users died, a 50 per cent increase from 2019.

     

    According to the data from Toronto Public Health, the data is still incomplete for 2020, although it does show that COVID-19 caused most deaths between January and June 7.
