    Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ quarterback Tom Brady breaks NFL career passing yards record against his former team the New England Patriots. It was a rainy night at the Gillette Stadium and it concluded with a Tampa Bay victory and a New England loss. Brady admitted to getting emotional before the game as he said it’s “a great stadium for me.” He also mentioned the supportive crowd and “Patriots-type weather” benefit the home side.

    Brady explained “These are people I shared my life with and I’m grateful for everything they contributed to my life,… I feel like I always will be a part of the community. It was just emotional moments thinking about coming up here and playing. It’s a tough football environment. The crowd was into it.”

    The seven-time Super Bowl champion was actually booed during the game but he managed to silence them by winning the game. Birthday threw for 269 yards, but the buccaneers only scored one touchdown, on an 8-yard run by Ronald Jones,
