    Since Canada’s travel restrictions started in March, travelers have found ways to enter Canada, sparking some concern. Although the number of people coming in is fewer than in past years, more than four million people have entered the country.

    Fines have been issued to Americans ignoring Canada’s travel rules, although according to the Canadian Border Services Agency, there are many valid reasons why Americans may have entered the country. 

    Mark Stuart, a CBSA spokesperson, said: “It should be noted that simply seeing a U.S.-plated vehicle or boat is not a reason to suspect someone of suspicious cross-border activity.”
