    Unifor members approved General Motors Canada’s plan to invest $1 billion in an electric vehicle plant.

    On Sunday, 88 members of the union voted online on a tentative deal with GM to transform GM’s CAMI plant in Ingersoll, Ontario, into a hub to produce electric commercial delivery vans. 

    According to the union, 91 per cent of workers voted in favour of the deal.
