    Unifor, the union representing workers at General Motors, has reached an agreement after negotiating with the automaker.

    On Wednesday, the union set a deadline to reach a new 3-year labour deal and told their members to prepare to strike if necessary.

    The union said that the bargaining committee was ready to negotiate right before the deadline, avoiding a strike.
