Gloomy skies as more smoke from U.S. wildfires carries slowly toward B.C.

After several days of record-breaking temperatures in British Columbia, Environment Canada’s advisories about wildfires are still in effect.

The advisory says that for the next 24 to 48 hours, there can be a potential transport of smoke from dozens of wildfires in the northwestern United States.

According to Environment Canada’s air quality health index, the air quality will be moderate to high risk for southern B.C.

It is recommended that those with health issues stay indoors due to low-quality air.
