The Winnipeg Blue Bombers and their loyal fans get to celebrate as back-to-back Grey Cup champions. Before their last title win the Blue Bombers were on a 29-year championship drought that the franchise was tired of talking about. The match happened on Sunday and ended in a thrilling overtime win for Winnipeg.

The final score was 33-25 for Winnipeg in front of a sold-out crowd of mainly Hamilton fans. They plated in the Tim Hortons Field that can accommodate 26,000 fans. This is the third time in history the Blue Bomber’s won back-to-back championships. Winnipeg’s quarterback, Zach Collaros said after the game “resilience. Perseverance. We did it all year. Just an amazing group,”

Sunday’s game concluded the 108th Grey Cup with the Bombers coming back from a 12 point deficit. Willie Jefferson, Bomber’s defensive end said “in the fourth quarter we handle business. It came down to overtime. We have so much confidence in our offense and then we’re going to go out there and shut the lights off,”
