    Hasbro is partnering with New York Times, to transform the online word puzzle “Wordle: The Party Game.” to a board game. In a press release the companies said the new board game “delivers classic Wordle gameplay, but now in an all new way,” Hasbro’s gaming studio created many versions before coming out with their final product.

    Hasbro Gaming’s Senior Vice President and General Manager Adam Biehl said “what sparked out interest was … how much fun people were having posting the results on social media, … That’s when we knew that there was something special about it.”

    Pre-orders begin Thursday ahead of the game’s release on October 1. The suggested price is $19.99 and will be sold on Hasbro’s website, Target, Amazon and Walmart.
