Tension increases for a plan for schools to reopen as Ontario enters stage 3

Stage 3 reinstatement measures have increased calls from Ontario parents, teachers, and public health officials for a plan to help get all children back in school this September.

The decisions that the government made to  lift some of the COVID-19 rules on bars, letting them resume assisting consumers inside establishments starting this Friday with some social distancing regulations set is what started the parents concerns.

Premier Doug Ford rejects the comments that explain that the province looks more concentrated in reopening bars than schools where children can learn. Ford explained that reopening places to drink is the last thing on his mind.
