Ottawa Police Services released a new draft budget, which includes 30 new officers and an amplified focus on mental health.
On Wednesday, the draft budget was tabled and will be unveiled in the upcoming City Council meeting.
According to the budget, there will be a 3 per cent tax increase for police services, and the cost would rise by $19 for the average household.
